Machhapuchhre Model Trek

The Machhapuchhre model trek is a newly identify trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. This trek is designed for trekkers who are looking for a less congested, unspoiled trek far from the growing road network. This trekking route trail gives you a variety of different terrains, beautiful villages, amazing waterfalls and caves, lush vegetation, rhododendron forests. It also offers unparalled views of the majestic Machhapuchre mountain, along with panoramic vistas of the Annapurna ranges.Trekkers have the option to extend the trek up to Mardi Himal Base Camp. This trek can be done either by staying in the camping tents or in the villages of Lahachok, Ghachok, Machhapuchhre,Rivan, imu, and Saitighatta

The journey begins from Pokhara, gradually ascending to higher altitudes. One of the trek’s unique features is its focus on eco-friendly and sustainability. Local homestays and lodges provide accommodation, offering trekkers a chance to experience warm Nepalese hospitality while supporting the local economy. Along the way, you can enjoy local cuisines, traditional music and cultural interactions that give insight into the lives of the mountain communities.

    1. Day 1

      Drive from Pokhara to saripakha (2145)m & trek to Chichemle (2645)m

      Max altitude: 2,645 m

    2. Day 2

      Trek from Chichemle to Korchon view point (3682)m via Khumai dada

      Duration: (5-6 ) hours.

      Max altitude: 3,682 m

    3. Day 3

      Trek from Korchon view point to Saitighatta (1345) via Meshrom Kharka & drive back to Pokhara

      Duration: 6 hours & drive: 1 hours.
